Today’s a really big day for me. It’s my first vegan Thanksgiving, and I’m super excited. My husband and I decided to go vegan about 6 months ago—and we haven’t looked back since.
So, before I get back to spending time with family, cooking, and enjoying some delicious food, I wanted to share something super juicy with you.
One of my favorite people {even though we’ve never met}, Chris Guillebeau is doing something he doesn’t do very often. He’s having a super generous sale on all of his products. He emailed me, so my readers could get in on it before it ends at midnight on Monday. Use the discount code “PUMPKIN” to get 15% off.
Now, I think many of his products could benefit you, but the main one that is the perfect fit for my audience is his unconventional guide, Art + Money. You can find it here.
I bought and used this guide earlier in the summer, and for real, it rocks. We share the same philosophy: you don’t have to be broke and miserable if you’re an artist.
He can explain the guide to you much better than I ever could, so head on over to his website if you want more information on making some darn good money from your art.
Another reason I heart Chris is that he’s also increasing his donation to a water project in Ethiopia from 10% to 15% during this sale. That makes him a class act in my book.
And, just so you know, I’m an affiliate for Chris’s products. That means that if you buy from one of the links above I get a little bit of money. But, also, just so you know, I’d never be an affiliate for a product I don’t freaking love. I would never want to risk losing your trust by sending you to a half-assed product just so I can get a few dollars. No way. Not gonna happen.
Happy vegan Thanksgiving! I wanted to give you thanks because after what you told me I redesigned my blog and it’s starting to feel better. I think in overall it express much better what it’s my business about. Having consulting with you after the holidays is one of my top priorities.
Best,
Olivia
Yay Olivia! That makes me so happy 🙂 I look forward to working with you!!!
Thank you for sharing this tip!
Happy vegan Thanksgiving! I am really curious about what you ate today! I am part time vegan… Part time because I’m not able not to eat meat on holidays! (and I feel so bad after)
Hey Marie,
We had spinach dip and bean dip with toasted french bread for appetizers.
For the main course, we had chickpea cutlets, mashed potatoes with a jalapeño and corn gravy, roasted asparagus, vegan stuffing, and sweet potato rolls.
And for the dessert, we had an apple and pear crumble with soy vanilla ice cream.
So yummy!!!
