This is a great idea. I have similar boards but they are much bigger at 8 1/2 by 11 so I have to think about it to drag them out. it will be great to have them readily available on a hook in the studio.

      Hey Bonnie Lee,

It’s definitely nice to have it right in front of me when I’m creating. When something is off in a drawer, I sometimes get lost in the creative process and forget about it.

I LOVE this idea, April! πŸ™‚

I adore intense, vibrant colors. They inspire me, light me up. And what a great way to keep those inspiring colors near by for inspiration right when I need it. I do a lot of digital design, mainly graphics for websites and Facebook Pages, and colors is where I tend to get stuck a LOT. I just love this idea of having a flip-book of inspiring colors handy when I need inspiration for those digital projects, as well as the other crafty stuff that I love to play with. πŸ˜‰

You could get a white board where you keep thoughts and ideas, store it behind your sofa, and bring it out whenever you’re ready to work. You could frame a couple inspiring prints and set them out whenever you get ready to create. Or, make a color inspiration flip book. […]
