On Friday and Saturday, I shared pictures of my stock of yarn. And, here’s the last of them:
My mother-in-law taught me how to knit when I was first dating my husband. Every once in a while, we would get together, order Chinese and knit. We’ve also taken a knitting class together to move beyond just knitting scarves but neither one of us has finished our cowl project. I tried to pick it back up last week, and I forgot what I’d learned. I bet my lovely sister-in-law can help me when she visits for Christmas. She’s super talented when it comes to knitting. I’m kinda jealous, but she gives me amazing knitted gifts like knee socks…so she spreads the wealth!
The burgundy yarn above will one day be a pillow.
I’m so glad to hear you haven’t finished your cowl yet! Susan promised she would help us. I’ve tried to finish my as well and I can’t get the honeycomb stitch to work. Love, Your Mother-in-Law
Hahahahaha…. 🙂
Don’t worry too much about that UFO (unfinished object) April….I know knitters who just have a severe case of startitius and never finish anything:)
We have the same knitting-itis! And my MIL is in on it as well. She gave me my knitting classes last year. I love it! But I’m super slow…
Love that burgundy yarn! What is it? I would love a cowl made out of that…
