In my meat-eating days, I didn’t care for eggnog. Drinking eggs freaked me out.
Wanting my husband and I to have some festive drinks, my mom surprised us with Silk Nog last holiday season, and it was love at first taste. If you’re vegan {or get freaked out by drinking eggs}, you should try a few swallows. I actually like the Coconut Milk Nog by So Delicious {it’s creamier} more than Silk, but they run out of that brand at our store sometimes.
Our recipe is simple: two parts Nog, one part bourbon, and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
I like nutmeg on top and my husband likes cinnamon. We both like bourbon.
