A Work in Progress: Knitted Clutch

- January 26, 2013 | by April -

Knitting1

I picked my knitting needles back up after about a year long break. I grew tired of knitting scarf after scarf, and I only knew the knit stitch. So many more possibilities open up when you learn how to purl.

In the evenings over the past week, I’ve knitted while my husband and I relax and watch a little television before bed. I’m close to finishing a pair of fingerless gloves, and I’ve started working on this knitted clutch. I’ll show more pictures when I finish.

I used to know how to knit, but I’ve since forgotten. What are your favorite places to get yarn?

I buy a lot of my yarn from our local yarn shop, Mosaic. But, I also buy some from Michael’s and Etsy sellers.

It’s not too difficult, Shan! I learned how to purl by watching a tutorial video on Creative Bug, and I picked it up pretty quick.
