One of the reasons I wanted to blog every day this year was to record more of my daily life with pictures. This picture gives you a glimpse into today.
I subscribe to Better Homes and Gardens, drink at least one cup of tea every day {it’s usually more like three}, and my favorite indulgent snack are these cookies {gluten-free and vegan!}.
What you don’t see is that when I flip through the magazine, I record any ideas that I get or want to try in a notebook. And, then I rifle through that notebook when I’m lacking ideas or brainstorming new blog post topics.
Thank you for this insight into your everyday-it’s always fun to learn more about those we admire. Thanks for the fun photo!
Awww…thanks Amy! 🙂
Tea is the ultimate addiction. I seriously drink at least 10 cups a day, and feel like I’m having crack withdraws when I have to go without.
It’s the worst going to a friend’s house and asking if they have any tea, and they pull out some powder sugar mix! Gah!
lol
Love seeing these little glimpses into your life April, you have such a lovely blog. ♥
Hahahahahaha…I need my tea, too! I know what you mean…
Oh no…powdered sugar mix…no, no, no….
Thank you!
This is a lot like how I spend my days. I have 32 magazine subscriptions (really) and I drink many cups of tea per day. My favorite is jasmine green tea. I keep a notebook of ideas too.
What’s your favorite magazine?
I don’t think I’ve tried a jasmine green tea…it’s going on the list. I usually stick with my favorites but every time I branch out, I’m glad I did.
That’s a hard one…I have three: 1. Where Women Create 2. Mollie Makes 3. Writer’s Digest
If I had to put them in order, it’d be the one above. 🙂
What about you? What’s your favorite?
My relatives are British, so tea is a diet staple for me. My favorite is English Breakfast, but I also love Earl Grey and green tea. My favorite magazine to read with tea is “Where Women Create”. So inspirational! I have this BH&G magazine on my counter right now. Although I’m not too excited about it. It was my consolation prize for the fact that they cancelled Scrapbooks, Etc. subscription when the magazine folded. So sad!
I was excited about the colors on the cover! Love the turquoise and orange with the hot pink. I’ll be ripping off the cover and putting it into my binder for color inspiration.
I loooooooove Where Women Create. It is very inspirational.
I like to flip through Better Homes and Gardens, but it’s not one of my favorites, either. I pass it on to my mother-in-law when I’m done, because she loves her garden.
