Ahhhh…sounds like bliss! I also love to drink tea and read. That is my idea of heaven and the perfect way to spend a little free time. I also enjoy walking my dogs, playing tennis and scrapbooking. Or taking a drive on a nice day in my cute convertible with the top down and some tunes to sing along to playing on the radio. And napping…napping is good! 🙂
Oh, yes…walking my dogs is the best. I’ve never gotten into tennis, but I’ve always wanted to learn. Napping is good! 🙂
It’s always tea time around these parts. 🙂 I like to read magazines and make collages for fun. This might sound weird, but cleaning up the house (even just a little bit) on Friday nights really helps me relax into my weekend.
I can understand that–it’s like you’re starting with a clean slate. We usually do a little cleaning on Saturday morning for the same reason.
I love that you have a set day for your play time. I will have to try something like this as well.
I do try to make time for play each day – but of course this is not possible each day! At least not in a big way. I do however do small “play” things each single day.
(Thanks to you actually – learned this in Roadmap!) For example I knit a bit each day. Even if it is just a few rows. It helps me relax and my knitting grows. 🙂 I can not fit in drawing, sewing, reading, button making into each day … but I like to switch it up. Either I draw a little OR I read OR I work on a sewing project …
However, there is ALWAYS TEA! Each and every single day. At least on big cup in the morning and one big cup in the afternoon. I love my little tea ritual. Without it I feel not whole. 🙂

YES! Fitting in just a little bit adds those bursts of joy and happiness to each day. I usually do something each evening like a little knitting while watching television with my man or reading a magazine to relax. 🙂
And, yay for tea!!!
