I’ve got a super awesome giveaway for you lovely creative entrepreneurs who want honest, objective feedback on your website.
Want someone {who knows what the heck she’s doing} to tell you what’s working and what isn’t, what changes you should make, and what major issues are turning off your readers/customers? If you’re raising your hand high right now, keep reading.
Erin Flynn from EEF Designs is going to choose one Blacksburg Belle reader for a public website review.
This means that if you’re picked, Erin will review your website right here on Blacksburg Belle so that everyone else who wasn’t chosen can learn from it, too. I’ll publish the review on May 21st.
What does it entail?
PDF with up to 10 suggestions (if applicable), screenshots, browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer), and mobile-responsive testing.
Who’s it the best fit for?
This basic evaluation is great for someone with a small website/blog or who thinks they have everything almost perfect, and just needs another opinion. We’ll check out your website and point out all the major issues we find.
Erin provides this service via EEF Designs, usually costing $100. But, the lucky chosen one will get her site reviewed for free.
How to enter your site:
Simply leave a comment below with a link to your website. In the comment, tell us one thing you’re struggling with when it comes to your website {examples: making your opt-in form visually appealing, choosing the right fonts, picking colors that fit with your brand, keeping it simple yet effective, etc.}. Erin will pick one person from the comments and send me the review to publish on May 21st.
You must leave your comment by THIS FRIDAY, May 10th at 8pm EST to enter your site.
{Please note that the review will be PUBLISHED, so if you’re super shy about sharing your site with us, don’t enter. However, this is a GREAT opportunity to get feedback on what changes you should make and get your site in front of Blacksburg Belle readers!}
A website review would be fantastic! While I’m pretty happy with the visual aspect of the site…I have doubts about its effectiveness. And…isn’t that the point of having a website in the first place? LOL. What to do…what to do.

Hello there, here’s a message from The Netherlands. I’m very curious about what Erin has to say about my webshop!!! We’ve just added an English language option (that was quite a struggle) and it’s all very exciting but… now I could really use a fresh view of someone outside our country 🙂

I’m just now getting back into the blog thing & feel like so much has changed in the few months I went missing. I would love to see what I’m doing right & what needs some sprucing up to help me grow my blog into what I dream of.
I would be thrilled to have her peruse my blog. I’m not sure what should be improved but a professional opinion would be awesome!
I’m having trouble deciding on a color scheme so I haven’t done much with extras yet, but once I can figure it out I’ll do it!
It would be great to have some fresh eyes look at my website so I’d love to have Erin do a review. I feel its pretty good right now but I know it could be improved!
I’d love to have her help on this! My biggest struggle with my site is plugins! I’ve recently switched to WordPress and there are so many plugins that I’m overwhelmed and not sure which ones are best to use. Thanks! 🙂
I would love a big header with opt in box within it followed by the menu underneath. I’d also like my photo somehow incorporated in the righthand opt in box.
Thanks for the opportunity to win! Good luck everyone!

I would love to know if there is anything further I need to do to instill trust in new visitors, so they would feel more comfortable making a purchase. Any other tips also welcome! 🙂
I would so appreciate Erin’s opinion on how to better integrate ads into my sidebar.

Oh wow, what a great opportunity this is!
I’d love to get some feedback on my blog.
I have my blog since a few years, but only since this year I started to really work on it and try to make it something. So any advise is very welcome.
You ask what I’m struggling with the most, that’s a hard question.
I think I’m doubting a lot of things on my blog: opt-in form, fonts, background.
But I think mostly I’m struggling with making my blog work all together, to give it a coherent feel to the stuff that I’m blogging about.
Here’s the link to my blog: http://www.stuff-to-love.blogspot.com.
Ofcourse I hope to win the review, but I’ll also be looking forward to May 21st if I don’t win. Looking at feedback on other blogs is also helpfull.
I’ve recently updated my website with the aim of creating a cohesive brand/theme across all my sites. I currently use it as a landing page with links to external sites for my blog/shop/portfolio etc.. But I’m wondering if I could put it to better use with a gallery on the front page. I’m considering hiring someone to update it but not sure which direction I should take.
I would love to have my blog looked it: http://artsymomma.blogspot.com I just recently set up a newsletter link but havent really had many sign up for it. I’m also trying to connect my blog with my artwork and I’m not sure I’m doing it in the best way. Thanks for this opportunity!
Thank you for another helpful web-site. The area otherwise can I get which sort of facts coded in a really ideal method? I’ve a problem that we are at the moment running on, and i also have already been at the peek away for this kind of info.
