So, I’m not the only brilliant person publishing videos online. {You’re shocked? I know. No one is quite as brilliant–or modest–as me. Obviously, that’s a joke to anyone thinking about writing me a 10,000 word email on why I’m not that great.}
Instead of giving you biz advice, I’m going to share the stage and divulge to you the ten videos I think fit into the must-watch category.
If you haven’t watched these videos, you MUST brew yourself a cup of herbal tea and settle in. You’re in for a treat.
{They aren’t in any particular order, because they’re all great.}
1. Your Elusive Creative Genius on TED
2. How to Position Your Product to Sell on Marie Forleo
3. How to Live Before You Die on TED
4. How to Fascinate on YouTube
5. Product Photography for Beginners on Etsy
6. My Pre-Friday Video Time Ritual on Heartmade
7. Why People Don’t Buy What You Sell on Social Triggers
8. How Great Leaders Inspire Action on TED
9. The Power of Introverts on TED
10. Hate Mail on YouTube {Okay…this one is just for fun…but isn’t it so funny?}
Do you have a favorite video that didn’t make this list? Link to it below in the comments!
Oh wow April, I love your list! I wish I had time to watch them all right now. I’m starting with no.8!
Awesome! Enjoy! 🙂
Super great stuff! Thanks for posting these!
You’re so very welcome! Enjoy.
I love them all!
I would also add JK Rowling’s inauguration speech at Harvard, on the fringe benefits of failure, Chimamanda Adichie’s TED talk on the risk of the single story, and Jill Bolte’s TED talk Stroke of Insight. Not about biz, but about life, and perspective.
Oh yes! JK Rowling’s speech is pretty darn great. I haven’t watched the other two–will definitely have to check them out.
Looking forward to watching these! Aren’t we so blessed to live in this age with the internet and easy access to so much inspiration and so many great resources? How wonderful is it that we can participate in a community with people from all over the world and make friends with people we might never have met otherwise? It’s a great thing! 🙂
Yes…I love that I can go to the TED website and pick a video to watch and be soooooo inspired and learn something new. Agreed! 🙂
You included Simon Senek’s Why video – This is my absolute favourite! So, so much this is my favourite. I re-watch it quite often. The best business principal I’ve discovered on this adventure.
Another favourite is by Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) about how she doesn’t have it all together, about finding our own way which is amazing too. I often go back to this one for a courage boost.
http://www.oprah.com/omagazine/Elizabeth-Gilbert-Talk-from-O-Magazines-10th-Anniversary-Video I discovered this one via Kelly Rae Roberts.
That’s my favorite, too! I’ve watched many many many times. I also saw him speak in person and it was AMAZING!
I’ll have to watch the one you linked to–I don’t think I’ve seen it. 🙂 Thanks for the recommendation!
