Last week I received the most thoughtful gift from a long-time reader of Blacksburg Belle {who many of you will probably recognize from her awesome comments}, Coral, and I couldn’t believe how “me” it was. The art journal {see picture above} and tea towel were inspired by past DIYs here on Blacksburg Belle. And, the magazine was just my style!
Coral also took time to make tags and embellish the envelope that housed her sweet letter.
I’ve received some pretty amazing gifts from readers/customers, and I appreciate every single one. Usually, I wouldn’t share them here, but I loved how she put her own spin on some of my DIY projects. I just couldn’t help but share them with you to show you how you can make them your own–and to show you the fun tags she created.

Surprise packages are the BEST!
I hope this inspires you to surprise someone you appreciate.
Oh my gosh, I’m blushing… The photos you took are gorgeous! I took some before I sent your parcel on its adventure around the world but they don’t look like that I’m afraid. So happy you liked what I made with a mix of my style and yours. Love your DIYs. So fun to experiment with. I’m addicted to the mini art journals… Oh, and let me know if you try the gluten free recipe and if its good.
Big hugs – Coral
You can use the photos if you ever want to for some reason! 🙂
I loooooooved everything! I’m still swooning over it. I’ll definitely let you know about the recipe.
What wonderful gifts! That says a lot from Coral that she knows you so well!
I know…she’s pretty amazing!
Wow, was a beautiful and thoughtful gift. I love the tags and all the pink (and little birdies!).
oh yay, look at your Coral!!
I’ve been a fan of Coral’s for a while (as well as a buyer of her lovely stamps too,) and it’s so lovely to see them used in other ways! (I use them for mixed media, but not in the same wonderful way that Coral does!)
Both of you ladies are inspiration enough, now I have a new use for something that I already love! Thanks for your continued inspiration Coral & April 🙂
