You know the feeling when you pick up the phone and get news that shakes you to your core–so much that you feel as if everything around you is moving in slow motion?
All your priorities become clear and all the small stuff that you were stressing over thirty minutes ago becomes irrelevant.
Yesterday, when I saw my husband’s name pop up on my cell phone screen a few minutes before a business-related meeting, I answered cheerily.
The first words out of his mouth were, “I’ve just been in a bad car accident.”
The world fell out from under my feet.
After he said that he wasn’t seriously injured, I barely heard anything else.
The entire front of the car on the driver’s side was crushed in, leaving our car totaled. The airbags deployed. The other driver’s car was totaled, but she wasn’t hurt either. It could’ve been so much worse.
It reminded me that my world could be turned upside down at any moment and that I need to make the most of every single day which leads into today’s video.
