What's Your Holiday Marketing Plan?

- November 13, 2013 | by April -

MarketingPlan

The holiday season, the most lucrative time of the year for many creative entrepreneurs, is fast approaching.

I’ve already got ‘Jingle Bells’ stuck in my head.

Whether or not you’re ready for eggnog, Christmas carols, and tinsel, they’re coming.

As a business owner, you’ve got a HUGE opportunity to reach more customers and sell more products during the holiday season. Everyone is looking for the perfect gifts for their husbands, children, parents, siblings, and friends. They’ve even got to find something for the damn gift exchange at work.

Why shouldn’t it be your necklace, homemade pottery, or hand-knitted mittens that they give?

If you’ve already brainstormed and mapped out a strategic marketing plan for this last push before the holiday rush to get your products in front of your target market, you’re ahead of the game. You deserve a pat {or three} on the back and maybe a glass of that eggnog a bit early. If you don’t have a game plan, there’s still time, but you’ve got to get your act together fast. If you don’t get organized now, you might find yourself drowning your sorrows in eggnog instead of celebrating your sales.

That’s why I’ve created a ‘Your Holiday Marketing Plan at a Glance’ worksheet for  you to print and fill out.

Tape this on the wall next to your computer and start reaching new customers today. Give it everything you’ve got and you’ll feel awesome at the end of the holiday season–and you might even make enough to justify buying that metallic gold polka-dot dress from Anthropologie as a Christmas gift for yourself.

This simple worksheet is a great companion for Marketing for Creatives: Spread Your Message and Boost Your Sales.

Don’t know where to start when it comes to marketing? Confused on how to fill out the worksheet? Then, you need more in-depth info. Find it right here.
