I’ve got a way for us to help each other.
A couple days ago, I got this crazy idea for a way to spread the word about my upcoming CreativeLive course: a blog tour.
Now, that’s NOT the out-of-the-box part. A blog tour isn’t a new idea. Last time I taught at CreativeLive, I hosted a blog tour with some of my best online friends and it was a lot of fun and super successful.
But, I wanted to shake it up and find a way to involve YOU this time around.
Not only did I want to involve you, but I wanted to do it in a way that would help you and your business. If you decide to take part (and I hope you do!), I will be compiling a list of all the posts and links to the posts and publishing them on Blacksburg Belle. I’ll also be spotlighting lots of the posts on social media. And, the CreativeLive team is really excited about this and they’re going to be sharing your posts on social media. They have 119,000+ Twitter followers. Score for getting your blog in front of so many people!
And, I’ll be choosing FIVE of the bloggers who participate to win anytime access to both of my upcoming courses: Create Digital Products that Sell While You Sleep and Make Your Creative Business Uniquely Irresistible. That means you’d get access to the courses AND all of the bonuses for free. (And, the bonuses that you can only get with purchase are pretty darn great if I do say so myself. And, I do say so. Humbly, of course.)
Talk about win-win, right?!
This is your official invitation to participate. Here’s how:
1. Pick one of the following topics to blog about: a) What you’d love to learn from my upcoming course, Create Digital Products that Sell While You Sleep b) The biggest questions you have when it comes to selling digital or information products c) Your best-selling digital product and why you think it’s the most successful (if you already sell digital or information products) d) Why you want to learn how to create and sell digital products e) The biggest issues you’ve had with trying to sell digital products
2. Pick a day between October 20th and October 29th to publish your post on your blog.
3. Include this little blurb about my upcoming CreativeLive course (make sure you include the link) at the beginning or end of your post: “Are you ready to make your creative work more lucrative, stable, and sustainable in the long-term? Join April Bowles-Olin for an introduction to digital products and how they can enhance your creative business. This course will show you how to produce and position viable products for generating multiple revenue streams and passive income. RSVP right here to watch it live and get access to the workbook for FREE. This post is part of the Create Digital Products blog tour.”
4. Let me know that you’re participating by leaving a comment below, including the day (between the 20th and 29th) that you’re planning to publish.
5. If you want, you can include the image below in your post! (But, it’s not a requirement. Just thought it would make it even easier for some of you to join the blog tour. If you want to use it, just right click on it and then download.)
6. Come back here when you hit publish and share your link in the comments, so that I can include it in my compilation post on November 5th. I’ll also be sharing this list with the CreativeLive team so they can share the posts.
One of my goals for 2014 was to build more community aspects into Blacksburg Belle. I want each of you to feel included and supported. I hated cliques in high school and the feeling that you aren’t cool enough or good enough–that you don’t belong. That’s another reason I choose to host this type of blog tour. You are cool enough and good enough. You do belong.
If you have any questions, ask below and I’ll answer as soon as I can. And remember, if you’re going to participate, let me know below what date you plan on publishing your post.
I can’t wait to read what you write. I’ll be making additions and last minute changes to my course based on what you want to learn and the questions you have when it comes to creating and selling digital products if I’m not already covering it.
I believe that adding digital and information products to your business plan can make a huge difference to your success. You’re able to sell to more target markets, make more money without working longer hours and price your handmade products higher. Building a business based on digital products equals freedom!
And, I want to help as many creatives as possible with my course. That’s why I’m working so hard to promote this course–the more creatives that watch it live, the more people I can help for free. So, thank you so very much for helping me spread the word by joining this blog tour.
To wrap-up, if you participate in this blog tour, you’ll:
1. Get your blog post included in a post on Blacksburg Belle, including a link back to your blog which is always helpful with SEO when people search on Google for what you do.
2. Have the chance for social media shout-outs from me and CreativeLive.
3. Be entered to win anytime access for both of my upcoming CreativeLive courses.
4. Help other creatives improve their businesses and make more money. Good karma, my friend!
Super excited about this opportunity! Thank you April! I will be posting on Oct 21st (which is actually Oct 20th in the U.S. Creative Live ROCKS!!!

Fay
Great! Thank you so much for participating.

xo,
rs
Woohoo! I’m with ya on the loving to sleep. I average 12 hours a night. 🙂
Wow! What a right timing! I’m currently ‘having fun’ again with your BFYCB workbooks as I’m planning to revive my blog on 20 Oct when I take a few days off from work – and this time I have listed what I’m going to write during the week: my quest on how to turn my artwork (piling up now!) into digital product and to sell it online! So, April, I’m in!! Should I post only one or can I post several? It’s quite a coincidence but I have planned some posts with similar topics to points b) d) and e) for my upcoming blog 😀
Xo! A
That’s so exciting! I love that you’ve already planned out topics similar to some of mine. Yay!
You can post as many times as you’d like about these topics, but pick ONE of the posts for this particular blog tour. And, that post is the one that I’ll include on the list for Blacksburg Belle and CreativeLive.
Just let me know what date you’re going to publish on. 🙂
Thanks April! Indeed it’s so exciting! I will publish on saturday 25 October – will talk about e) The biggest issues you’ve had with trying to sell digital products
Wow, your class is gonna be packed! Wish I could have been there for the live event! Since I can’t, I’d love to participate! I would have ended up blogging about it anyway, but this way will be super fun. Ok, put me down for the 20th! And thank you! 🙂
I surely hope so! I’m making it as content-packed as I possibly can.
So glad you’ll be joining the blog tour! Oh yeah!
I’m excited to participate
Found you through Jennifer from TeachGoodStuff
I will blog about d) why create and sell digital products
I want to help other creatives improve their business and make more money.
Post will go live Oct. 29 th
Jennifer is awesome! She was in the live studio audience for my last CreativeLive course and she added so much with her input and examples. 🙂
Welcome and I’m so glad that you found me!
Thanks for joining the blog tour–I look forward to reading your post.
This is really exciting! I’m going to write about why I want to create and sell digital photos and have it up on my blog October 21!
Awesome! So excited to see your post.
I am thrilled to participate in the upcoming blog hop! I’ll be visiting my sister in Arizona, (she’s a jewelry artist) and we both are anxious to learn more on this topic. I would like to choose October 27th please, doing a combination of a, b and d . . . if that sounds okay to you. Thanks for this awesome opportunity, April! 🙂
Yay! That’s awesome that you share this online business thing with your sister. It’s so nice to have someone to talk to about it.
That sounds great! Can’t wait to read what you write. 🙂
I’m on board too for October 21 and I’ll write about d. I’ve always wondered if/how I could sell digital products. I love Photoshop and graphic design (self-taught). Sounds like a great course to take for me. Fingers crossing on being one of the lucky 5! Thanks April for including us on the blog tour!
Yay! I hope my course shows you exactly how you could add digital products to your business plan. Thanks for participating. I’m looking forward to what you have to say on the topic. 🙂
I’m in! So great to have an extra topic to add to my editorial calendar and I’ll be posting about A. Totally appreciate this idea that is a win win for everyone and hopefully blows your 15K goal sky high!
Thanks Tess! I hope it blows my 15k goal sky high, too.
I secretly love when someone gives me a specific topic to blog about. It makes my life easier to have those kinds of constraints–otherwise, I sometimes find myself with waaaaay too many ideas and spend a lot of time narrowing them down. That’s why I love to participate in these kinds of things. 🙂
Can’t wait to read what you write.
Almost forgot – I’ll be posting Oct 22nd
Perfect!
This is fantastic, and SO happy to hear about your upcoming CreativeLive course! I will absolutely be publishing and should do so on perhaps the 20th.
Thank you! I’m excited to read your post. Thanks for participating and helping me spread the word.
I am so excited about your upcoming courses so yes, I am in for the blog tour. In fact, I just wrote my post now and have it scheduled for the 20th. In case I forget to come back and post the link, this will be it once it goes live on the 20th: http://simplifycreateinspire.com/2014/10/creatingsellingdigitalproducts/
Your blog course at Creative Live was by far my favourite and what really inspired my blogging. Thank you!
Yay! Thanks Holly!
You’re a superstar–writing your post already! Holy bananas. Me = impressed.
I look forward to reading what you have to say. 🙂
I’m already writing the post in my head : ) I think it will be mainly about point e) and I plan to post it on Oct 22nd. Thank you for this April… and the upcoming course sounds amazing!!
Awesome! Can’t wait to read it. Thanks for joining the tour.
Hi April,
Thanks so much for the opportunity! I will be posting about this on the 20th. Creating a digital product really transformed my business so I can’t wait to blog about it and share another of your amazing courses.
Charlie x
THANK YOU for participating. And, I love that you have experience on how a digital product transformed your business. YES! I can’t wait to read it.
I’m in!! This is such a perfect topic for me because I just released my 1st digital product a month a go and it hasn’t seen much action at all 🙁
I will post 10/21!!
Thank you for all these fun blog projects!
xokelly
Hey Kelly! I know how that can feel. Believe it or not…I’ve been there. The disappointment mixed with the frustration. Not a wonderful feeling. I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed that my course is going to help you tweak a few things to make it a super success. 🙂
Thanks for participating in the blog tour and helping me spread the word about my upcoming course.
This is so awesome!!!!!!!! I can’t wait!!!!!! Brainstorming my post now. This is PERFECT timing. There were 3 things I wanted to finish by the end of the year.
#1. Switch my sylist/mua website over to SquareSpace from Showit (hit publish last night and refreshing my screen 1,000 an hour to see it finished). #2 get my digital products up and running for my side business #3 start a new blog that has more of lifestyle focus, this is more of a personal project that is meant to be an outlet for documenting life with my family and also to get me excited about beauty blogging again, which has lost its luster in the past year.
I am excited for your new Creative Live course. And I just got your blogging course, so I will be starting that too. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with both and being such a huge part of getting 2 of 3 my goals for the end of the year complete. You rock!
And I forgot to say that I will post Oct. 21:)
CONGRATS on the website switch. That’s huge.
Awwww…thank you! Comments like yours is what helps me to work overtime to make the course the best it can possibly be. So, I really appreciate that.
And, I can’t wait to see what you write AND check out the digital products you create when you launch them.
Hi April! Thank you so much for the amazing opportunity, can’t wait for this awesome blog tour 🙂
I will be posting on 25th October and blogging about d) and e).
Just in time before I launch my personal happiness digital course!
Yay! I’m thrilled that you’re participating. Thank you so very much for joining in the fun and helping me to spread the word about my course.
Can’t wait to read what you post.
I’d love to play along! I’ll publish my blog post on Friday, October 24.
Yay Sarah! Thank you so very much for playing along. I can’t wait to read your post.
I am definitely going to watch ALL of your CL classes! I will try to do the blog tour….gosh… those things make me stress, though, don’t know why….(still a newbie blogger) 🙂
Do you know that I smile every single time I see your name pop up in my email, showing that you commented? I so appreciate your support and I would LOVE for you to participate in the blog tour.
And, please please please don’t let it stress you out. We all started out as newbie bloggers and I happen to know that some of the participants are also pretty darn new at blogging. Don’t let that hold you back!
The post doesn’t have to be perfect or long. Just a couple of paragraphs would make my day. And, it could send some traffic your way, connecting you to other creatives! 🙂
April, you are just soooo amazing, you can not imagine. I adore how you reply to the comments despite you are solo super popular and have so many visitors. I am so really inspired by you!
OHhhhh, THANK you for the emotional support! Gosh…:)
That’s what I’m here for. 🙂
“OK, I commit.”, I say, as I am breaking out in cold sweat. OCTOBER 21st: see you then!
Hahahahahaha…no cold sweats allowed. Deep breath…then another…then another.
What’s the worst that could happen? Not much, right? At the very least, I will be so super appreciative that you joined the blog tour. 🙂
I’m In! Fun!! I will post on my blog on Monday, Oct 20th. Can’t wait! This class will be a Huge success!!! Xoxo, Jen
Awesome! Can’t wait to read what you come up with.
What a smart idea 🙂 I’d love to join as I found your first CreativeLive class amazing! I’ll post on Oct 20 on topic D at The Papercraft Lab.
I’ve created a guided project to help people to organize their digital photos and have no idea how to get it out there in the world.
Also, I’m attending my first in-person CreativeLive class in Seattle next week – super excited about that too.
Thank you! So glad you’ll be joining the tour.
That’s so exciting! What course is it? I’m super happy for you–it’s an amazing experience. Everyone who works at CreativeLive is super accommodating and they’re really good at what they do. It’s inspiring. 🙂
Hi April – Sorry for the delay. I’ve just written my post and it will go live at 3am tomorrow (Oct 20):
http://papercraftlab.squarespace.com/blog/2014/10/19/scaling-up-without-losing-sleep-a-new-class
The class I’m attending in person this week is a Photoshop one by Khara Plicinic. I’m really curious to see how it all works!
April, such a great idea!! I am wondering if it will be OK to participate if I write the blog post in Russian (as my blog is in Russian). Will you count it? Thanks!
Yep! You can totally join and post in Russian. To include you in the list, just let me know the title of your blog post in English. 🙂
Great! Then I plan to write on topic D and I will post it October 20-21 (shame on me, I still do not have editorial calendar for my blog!)
Hi April, I am IN! I will post on Oct 28. I’m really looking forward to the course!
Yay! Thanks for participating. 🙂
HI April,
I will blog about D and post it on October 20th, Can’t wait. Super excited.
Janet
Can’t wait to read it! Thanks for joining!
I’m totes in! I’m going to write on this topic: e) The biggest issues you’ve had with trying to sell digital products on October 21st. Can’t wait! Thanks April!
Sara
YES! I can’t wait to read your post. I’m hoping I’ll be covering info on how we can tackle those big issues. 🙂
Hi April! I love the topic of digital products so I’m definitely in! I’ll post it on the 20th. Thanks for the chance!
Awesome Jen! Thanks for participating. 🙂
April – this is way outside of my comfort zone…but I’m going to try it! I’ve never been involved with any kind of blog tour. But I’ve been reading your posts and wanting to try one of your classes. So I’m going to do this…ack!! 🙂 I’ll sign up for Oct 27th and I’ll probably hit on a, b and d in my post. I’m hitting submit now, before I change my mind! LOL
Yay! I love that you’re pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. You know some of the best things come out of pushing yourself past your comfort level? I hope this experience encourages you do more of it! 🙂
I can’t wait to read your post.
Sounds great April! I’ll be posting on the 20th and as this is all pretty new to me, I’ll be touching on b. The biggest questions you have when it comes to selling digital or information products.
Katie recently posted – A taste of Autumn – http://www.katiecollins.co.uk/blog
Awesome! I can’t wait to read it!
Hi April – You’re a sensation. I can hardly wait for this course, and the chance to win it is amazing! I will be participating on October 23rd (I’m in the UK so slightly ahead of you time-wise). I will be looking at D for my blog post. Can’t wait, can’t wait, can’t wait!
Thank you, Lucy! I love that you’re going to participate and I’m super excited to read your post.
I am so excited I have been a long time participator at Creative Live and just went to Blogging Concentrated that spoke about creating products for your blog so I am so excited to join your class and this blog tour!!

Hi April ,
This is such a wonderful idea and i am so excited to say that i am in ! I will post on Oct 21 st.
My blog is crying for some attention and your post is on TIME !
I watched you last time on Creative Live and i am so looking forward to the next one !
Thanks heaps April
Give that blog some attention! So glad this will help give you that push. I can’t wait to read your post. Thanks for participating!
Hi April – I am so definitely in. You have done it again – timing things just perfectly. Remember I was heading off to that big embroidery convention a few weeks ago? It was great, I learnt so much, did lots of talking which I love but I came home with this number one priority. I decided that I have to totally concentrate on selling myself online and part of that is getting my embroidery designs ready to sell digitally 🙂 I had been sitting on the fence a bit – wondering if I have enough material ready, am I ready to jump off – all that kind of procrastinating kind of stuff. But a lovely lady told me to just go for it so I made this commitment to myself – this is how you are going to do it and do it now. And then just to make sure that I have the message your lovely email pops into my Inbox and tells me I should blog about it and do your course on Creative Live! How cool is that?
So, I will be blogging on Wednesday October 22 (Australian time!).
Thankyou so much (as always) and hope you are keeping well with all this busy and exciting stuff going on for you at the moment 🙂
That’s amazing, Ann-Marie! I’m so happy that the embroidery convention went well and you had fun and made connections.
I love that you pushed past your inner procrastination critic and decided to give it a go. And, I’ll tell you a little secret: no one ever feels ready.
Thank you for participating in the blog tour! I can’t wait to read your post.
P.S. I interviewed someone who sells embroidery patterns digitally for my CreativeLive course! So, I’ve got an example for you that works for your business. Yay!
My blog post is now live – http://beautifulstitches.com.au/its-going-to-have-to-be-digital/
I am so excited that you have interviewed an embroiderer for your course – just can’t wait for it to get started!
Hi April, when will CreativeLive post their blog entry? Also do you have a #hashtag you’d like us to use when posting our blog entries on social media? My post is ready! I’m so excited!
CreativeLive is publishing their post on October 20th to kick off the beginning of the tour.
Good idea!!! I think we’ll use #bellelive because that’s what we’ll be using during the course. I’ll add that to my post right now.
I’m so excited, too! I can’t wait to read your post. 🙂
Thanks sweets!
Hi there, April! Love this concept. I plan to participate and publish my blog post on October 20th (www.taylorhayesart.com).
Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks for joining! Can’t wait to read what you post.
Hi, April! I’m so excited for your class – I have a few digital patterns that I sell, but I want to expand. I’m a Wednesday poster, so I’ll take the 22nd, please. Thanks so much for the opportunity to be part of your tour.
Thanks Jenny! I’m so glad that you’re going to participate. I can’t wait to read your post.
So excited! Your last course on How to Start a Creative Blog was so inspiring. I recently started a food blog and have decided my specific niche will be helping people learn to cook and be more comfortable in the kitchen. I’m just starting a cooking tips, meal plan and recipe lesson eBook that I hope to sell on my site soon. I’ll post the project brief with questions on the 27th!
Thanks Matt! Sounds great…looking forward to your post. And, thanks for introducing me to your blog. I love learning about food photography.
Hi April. I’m thrilled to say, “Yes! I will join in.” My blog and website are recently launched and I’m still watching your last course and learning. Paying homage to a wonderful teacher will be my pleasure! So I’m happily in — posting on October 24, and writing about A and a little B. Looking forward to the new class. And thank you!
Awesome! Thank you! I’m excited to read what you write. 🙂
I’m definitely in! My post will go up on Tues Oct 21.
Wonderful! Can’t wait to read it!
Live yesterday! And I saw that you already commented on the post before I could comment here. 🙂
Awesome, April! This sounds like so much fun – and a great opportunity for everyone! I’ll publish on the 26th! I’ve already signed up for your coming CL class on this. 🙂 Looking forward to it!
Yay! Thanks for joining. I can’t wait to read what you write. 🙂
This is such an amazing opportunity! Thank you a million times over, April! I’ll make my post on October 28th, and it will be a combination of C & D because I have a digital product and have sold it a handful of times, but honestly, I feel like I really have no idea what I am doing and I know I can learn so much from you in order to get it actually selling. I cannot wait to participate in your class! This is gonna be huge!
Best!
Of course! Thanks for participating. I can’t wait to see what you write. 🙂
Thanks, April! This is a great opportunity!! I’ll be publishing on the 28th. 🙂
Wonderful! “See you” then. 🙂
I am so in! I am going to post on Wednesday 22 October and share it with all my What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday friends which is my regular weekly post. I am sure there will be a few of them who would love to watch your course. I know that doing digital stuff is the way to go, but I have no idea how to go about it, so this is just the jump start I need. I am in South Africa and hoping that the hours difference is not too bad.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing with your audience. I really appreciate it. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Hello April. May I have a question. I have not a web site so how I enjoy your blog tour of you?
You can absolutely still read the posts from the tour and connect with others who write and publish posts (through commenting and social media). I’ll be posting links to all of the posts on November 3rd. However, the only way to participate is to write and publish a blog post on your own site.
Can’t wait for this class! I have a few products that I’ve been thinking about doing the past few months and this will be the best motivation to roll them out. I’m going to write a little of A and B and publish on the 29th.
Perfect! Thanks, Jalene. I can’t wait to read about your perspective!
Whew! Just made it before the deadline. 🙂 This will be fun, April! I’ll be posting on Wednesday, October 29. Thanks for the opportunity. Looking forward to your class.
Yay! Thanks Sage! I’m really looking forward to your post. 🙂
I cannot wait to take the course! CreativeLive surely scouts creative workshops for the creative! 😉 I will be posting about “Why you want to learn how to create and sell digital products” and have it published on Oct 27. Thanks for this April and I cannot wait to learn from you! Btw, your videos from Vimeo is very addicting! You’re a great fun speaker and your content is helpful! Keep inspiring and helping! 🙂
Thanks Elisa! So glad you’re joining the blog tour! I love teaching, so I can’t wait to go back to CreativeLive. I’m excited to read your post. 🙂
Hey April!
I’ve just finished my post ready to go live on Monday – so excited to be a part of your blog tour. I hope you are feeling well + looking forward to it x
My blog post link is http://femalephotographerassociation.com/make-more-mone…ur-photography/ and it goes live on the 20th.
I’ve kind of picked C as it mentions my book and why it has sold so well, together with a big intro to digital products + how they can transform a business 🙂 like they did for me! 🙂
Thanks April, Charlie x
Hi, April!!! I went ahead and just published my particiaption to the blog tour, since I’m not going to be able to do it on the 24th, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world!!! There is the link to it: http://plekoume.wordpress.com/2014/10/20/olivar-shawl-my-best-seller-pattern-pdf-and-what-i-learnt-from-its-success/
Thanks again for this opportunity, I’ll make sure I follow this on social media etc and I’ll watch the course on Creative Live, of course!!! Have an amazing week, my best from Piraeus, Greece!!!
Love your post, Maria! Thank you so very much for walking us through why your best-selling pattern is your best seller. That’s so helpful. And, your pattern is beautiful. When I think I’m at that level, I’ll be trying it out!
If there is anywhere in the world I would love to travel the most, it’s Greece. It seems so beautiful and romantic. 🙂
Yay! Mine is live too! I’ve changed the link since my last comment, so this is the new one
http://femalephotographerassociation.com/make-more-money-from-photography/
I’m pretty excited to be a part of your blog tour April… VERY in fact 🙂 and I also can’t wait to read everybody else’s posts!

Can’t wait to see what everyone else is saying as well!

How inspiring! It can truly be downright scary to start something new when the entire idea is new to you. I love that you took action despite all of that and I can’t wait to read part two and see how things develop. THANK YOU for participating in this blog tour. 🙂
Alright! It’s posted 😀 exciting!!
Yay! Thanks for participating and helping me spread the word about my course. I can’t wait to “see you” in November. I love that you included a list of digital products–it’s brainstorming done for us!
Hi April,
I just published my blog post on Finding Creative Inspiration at Home – http://www.katiecollins.co.uk/blog/
It’s great reading the other blog posts too! Good luck with the class.
Thanks,
Katie
This is GREAT, especially for those of us (raising hand high) that love to find inspiration while at home. I also love stuff that I can soak up while doing other stuff like sewing or knitting and CL courses and podcasts both work for that. Thanks for joining the blog tour!
I would love to participate! My hope is to get it up on October 29.
Awesome! Can’t wait to read your post, Bev!
Hello, April!
My post is live on ListLab’s blog: http://www.thelistlab.net/my-3-bestselling-digital-products-a-printables-shop-peek/
I’m excited to see the other participants’ posts, too!
Many thanks,
Jen
Okay…I love your post! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and why your products work. I love the examples you included–it’s solid, easy-to-implement information for anyone who is new to selling digital products. HIGH FIVE! Thanks for participating!
I loved this Jen, it was really helpful!

http://www.tunicbotik.com/biggest-questions-comes-selling-digital-information-products/
I’m sooooooooo excited to dig into your questions during my course. We’ll be talking about how offering tutorials can/will affect your business near the beginning–in the very first segment. Yay! Thanks for blogging about this!
Yuuupppppppppeeeeeeeee! My post is LIVE! This was fun. I am glad I was pushed to do it.
http://www.hellomygoddess.com/?p=1623
BEAUTIFUL! I’m so glad you pushed past that fear and went for it. I read the comments already on your post and they’re amazing and so supportive. Doing stuff like this breeds that kind of atmosphere. 🙂
Thank you for participating! It gave me a few ideas on where to expand some of my content for the upcoming course.
Here is my post girlie!! Wahoo for this!!! 🙂
http://jewelsbytrish.com/2014/10/sell-digital-products/
Love love love these questions–will be talking about many in-depth. I can’t wait! Thanks for participating in this blog tour. You rock!
Okay! My post is live! http://www.wingswormsandwonder.com/seed-swap-help-me-help-you-a-blog-tour/
🙂 Kelly
Yay! I loved this, Kelly! I hope my comment helps you out–I think if you reach out and get those questions answered, you might be surprised by the answers and they might give you clarity in the slight changes you need to make to connect with your target market.
Hi April!
My post is live. http://www.livingrichlyonabudget.com/make-extra-money-creating-digital-products
LOVE your post and how honest you are about your experience. I can’t wait to see you in San Francisco! 🙂
Okay! My post is live, and hopefully it all made sense….it’s been a crazy week…we had to dig out an old desktop, because I underestimated how much “lap” I had left, and my laptop crashed to the floor, and it killed the LCD screen. 🙁
http://www.cheekyvisionaries.com/magic-gift-wrapping/
It made so much sense and I loved it. Your personality is fused in your writing now. It’s so enjoyable to read. 🙂
Oh my gosh…I would cry big fat tears if my laptop crashed to the floor and the screen broke. Kris (my husband) would have to cuddle me for hours! Thank you for digging out your desktop to participate–that’s some crazy good willpower.
I “may” have had a few unladylike words to say after I realized the screen broke, lol. I was NOT a happy camper!
Yay, yay, yay! I’m thrilled that I found my voice! 😀
I know who Kris is…:) btw, I think it’s adorable how often he’s your first “like” on your posts. 🙂
Hahahahaha! Yep and yep.
You totally found it.
I know I know…but others who may read the comments might not so I just insert for that purpose.
He’s so crazy about liking my stuff on Facebook because he knows that it matters how many people like your posts in the beginning. And, he kinda sees it as a game…how often can he be the first to like it! Ha! He’s the best. 🙂
My link is live! I can’t find the original comment where I said I was posting on Oct 21 but here is the link to the post of why I want to create digital products! I am excited to share, thank you for doing this!
Congrats are in order!!! I’m so happy for you and I hope that my course will give you just the fuel you need to get some more passive forms of income coming in for when you have your second baby! Thank you so much for joining the blog tour. I’m bummed that you can’t make it San Francisco but you can always ask me questions in the chat. And, since I kinda know parts of your story (from reading your post), I’ll be able to give you even more guidance. 🙂
Congratulations!! We’re expecting too, but I’m way ahead of you, lol. Mine is coming in January, so I definitely will NOT be in San Fran either, hahaha!
I’m definitely looking forward to have some revenue coming in too…we’ve got this girl! 🙂
Wow ladies, cookin’ up little miracles in your tummy, congrats!
Here is my post! http://ilovemyhomeplan.com/2014/10/22/three-not-so-small-steps-to-get-out-there/
Lots of love to everyone, so much to read : )
You had me in tears reading this. You should absolutely know that you’re not alone. Even though I put a lot of work out into the world, I’m still scared. I know that deep fear that can keep you from moving forward. THANK YOU for participating in this blog tour. HUGS!
Wow thank YOU for your kind words April. Even if I am a bit behind reading everybody’s posts I’m enjoying the experience immensely… feeling such a creativity and confidence boost!
I am also looking forward your course, even if here in Barcelona it will go live while I’m at work, then commuting, and then bath, dinner and bedtime, LOL. But I’ll manage somehow : )
Hi there, my blogpost has gone live: http://bellasscrappinspace.blogspot.com/2014/10/whats-on-my-workdesk-wednesday-281-free.html
What a fun post! I loved seeing what is on your desk. Such a great idea for creatives–very interesting. I’m really excited to help you figure out how to make online courses work for you and your business. Thank you so very much for participating in the blog tour. 🙂
Hello again, April! Thanks for this fun opportunity. My post is up: http://hijennybrown.wordpress.com/2014/10/22/digital-low-down-surving-the-test-phase/
Hi April,
Yay, fun! I just posted part 2 of my epically long answer to the Why behind taking the class 🙂
xoxo,
Jen
http://www.jenandcompany.com/2014/10/22/april-asked-part-2/
It just keeps getting better and better…I’m ready for Part 3! 🙂
Jenny – Thanks for sharing your experience for the testing round. I expect that’s the most intensive part of creating knitting and crochet patterns. I just watched a video interview where a cookbook writer tests her recipes about 50 times before they make the cut to her next cookbook. Crazy! You’ve gotta really love what you do for that kind of commitment.
Hi April – I know I am a little late but not too late! I just published my blog post for the tour. I was a part of your Blogging class on CL and this helped me start my blog. Just started it a few weeks ago and enjoying it so far. Setting aside the time to make it happen and being committed to it!
Thanks again for sharing your ideas with all of us.

Kelly
Thank you so very much for participating! I will be digging into many of your questions. I’m really excited to cover all of this stuff in my upcoming course. It’s going to fun. 🙂

It’s such a great opportunity to poll your audience and figure out what they want from you.
Thank you for letting me know what you want to learn in my course. I’ll be covering each and every one of those things. Woohoo! 🙂
Hi April,
I just now found out about your class on CreativeLive (from the emails CreativeLive sends) and RSVP’d for your 2 upcoming classes. Then clicked on your website to find out more about you and found this blog tour.
I have an Etsy shop where I sell printables, but I have a bunch more ideas of other types of digital products I’d like to add as well. Am excited to learn more in your class. Would love to participate in the blog tour if I’m not too late. I will post on Oct. 29th at http://joditt.com.
Now I’m off to read the posts already up in the blog tour. 🙂
Wonderful! I’m looking forward to reading your post! 🙂
So glad you found me.

As I’ve said before, I just can’t wait for this course!
Lucy.
Hey Lucy! Thank you for joining the blog tour! I really appreciate it. Your designs are super cute. I really hope that my course helps move you from thinking about digital products to actually offering digital products. 🙂

What wonderful ideas! I’m really excited how you already have a plan on what you want to create and market. Now, let’s see if I can give you the tools to do so in my course. Thanks for joining the blog tour!
Hi April,
I am watching your replay on Creative Live, and I am looking forward to your upcoming class! I will be making my post tomorrow, October 23rd. I will come back tomorrow with the link to the post.
Thank you for the opportunity April!
With gratitude,

Yay! Loved the last part. Thanks for sharing so much with us. I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed that my course is going to help you put your inspiring ideas into action. 🙂
So I am a little behind on this, but I am so thankful to you for offering your courses and blog! I first heard of you while watching Michele Ward on CreativeLive and she highlighted your blog success and I was totally hooked. Your information is so practical and easy to digest. Honestly, since watching your courses and reading your posts I’ve gained more courage to just “get it together”. I’m not where I want to be yet, but I’m on my way. So that’s what I wrote about this morning. It’s posted on my personal blog and I will be at my laptop tuned in next month for sure!
Here’s the link: http://www.withstylebygrace.com/general/why-i-am-stuck-in-my-business-and-what-i-plan-to-do-about-it/
I’ll be promoting this on my social media early next week.
Your honesty and openness in this blog post are beautiful. I think there is absolute power in saying how you feel and what you’re trying to do to move past it. I hope my course is inspiring and helpful for you. Thank you for participating in this blog tour.
Blog post is up! Can’t wait to see all of you in San Francisco!

I’m so very excited that you’re coming all the way to San Francisco to learn how to create and sell digital products (and hang out with some really cool women). It’s going to be so much fun! And, THANK YOU so much for joining in on the blog tour and posting such a thoughtful post.
Hi April, I just found you via your creative live re broadcast (not realizing until later that you were the same instructor of the digital downloads class I’d already RSVP’d too…so, I’m glad to connect and I’ll publish a post on Monday, the 27th…probably on your item d. I have a ton of work to do on my site/blog to catch up on first! Thanks for the opportunity!
Wonderful! THANK YOU! I’m so glad you found me and that you’ll be tuning into my next CL course. I’m really excited about it and I hope you enjoy it. I can’t wait to read your post.
Hi April!
This was a fun challenge for me. I enjoyed creating a post connecting what I do with you and Creative Live. Thank you for this opportunity! I’m excited to go through your course I just purchased and looking forward to your new one on Creative Live!
Here’s my blog post:
http://www.unclutterangel.com/blog/three-creative-ways-to-make-everyday-chores-fun
Thank you again,
Angela
I love how you wrote something useful and evergreen! I’m not a fan of chores and I’ve never tried number one on your list, but I will now. Thank you so very much for participating in this blog tour. 🙂
Okay, my blog post is up now! At first I didn’t know what to write about but I ended up having fun with it.
Here’s the link:

Can’t wait for the course to start on the 10th!
Oh my goodness do I love the smell of a book. It’s one of my favorites.
Shut the front door…you make personalized camera guides that don’t sound like german plus korean? I LOVE YOU ALREADY!
Thank you so very much for helping me spread the word about my course!
Hi April!

Here’s my post – it’s live!! http://wherethestoryistold.wordpress.com/2014/10/27/if-i-build-it-will-you-come/
Lovely questions and ideas! I can’t wait to dig into this stuff. I feel like I’ve been ‘talking’ about it now for so long and I’m ready for the course to start. I hope it helps you figure out the right digital products to offer your target market.
Thanks for joining the blog tour!
Hi April! Such a good idea. Thanks! I just posted my article for this blog tour at http://www.platingpixels.com/learn-to-cook-in-10-days-ebook-intro/
Really enjoyed reading your post. Awesome job on creating your first ebook–concept is great. Thank you for participating in my blog tour!
April! I did it, it’s live! Wow, that was sooooooo fun! I can’t wait for the live course. Now, I’ve just a couple more project deadlines to meet and then can chill a bit and read everybody else’s posts! Yay!
Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/1Dmi5Jv
What a fun post, Nancy! I truly enjoyed reading it and I hope you feel completely confident about creating and selling digital products when I wrap the course. We’re gonna have a blast.
Thank you thank you thank you for joining the blog tour.
well…it didn’t go quite the way I’d planned… but it’s published…
http://michelleberkey.com/christmas-2014-peace/
Isn’t it always better when it ends up being something than we first planned or imagined? I think so! My eyes filled with tears while reading your post…so I’m gonna say it was pretty darn good.
Thank you so very much for sharing my course with your people!
My post is live! Thanks again!!
http://thewellnessangel.net/idea-digital-product-hasnt-happened-yet/
I’m definitely covering this stuff. I get the perfectionist mindset sooooooooo bad. It’s not pleasant. You gotta learn how to dominate that inner critic–and we’ll be talking about it during my course. 🙂
Thank you for participating in the blog tour!
April, my post is live! http://helloprettymuch.wordpress.com/2014/10/28/making-your-business-uniquely-irresistible-so-you-can-make-money-with-digital-products-while-you-sleep/ Thanks again for this great opportunity. I cannot wait to join the Creative Live class and learn a ton from you.
Have a great week!
Renay
Of course! THANK YOU for joining in on the blog tour fun.
Can I first say how I love the genius behind combining both course titles? Smartypants!
Now, onto figuring out why digital products aren’t selling the way you want them to…there can be a lot of reasons…and I’ll be covering them in my course. I’m hoping you’ll be able to figure out what you need to tweak to make sure your target market starts to eat them up. (And, by eat them up, I mean buy them up…but saying eat them up is so much more fun.) 🙂
Hi April, I’ve really enjoyed reading post from this community.
The authenticity and transparency has really moved me.
I see why Jennifer from Teach Good Stuff loves your blog.
So here’s my contribution. It’s a video blog
Look forward to learning more.
http://malaikapaul.com/why-i-want-to-learn-how-to-create-and-sell-digital-products/
Oh…the first video response! Yay!
Loved that you shared what you’ve learned so far. I can’t wait to help you learn even more through my course. 🙂
Thank you so very much for taking the time to make such a thoughtful video and to join the blog tour. I really enjoyed your post.
You’re welcome April. Your engagement and response with the blog tour is really impressive. You’re definitely the one to watch.
Thanks! I’ve really been enjoying reading everyone’s posts. It’s a treat!
My post is up: http://joditt.com/2014/10/digital-products-blog-tour/
What a wonderful post! Thank you for sharing your best-selling digital prints and why they’ve been doing so well.
I hope my course helps you figure out how to reach your target market even more, creating sales while you sleep on a daily basis.
Thanks for joining the blog tour!
Yay! a tiny bit tardy getting this posted today but it is live now. I think (i hope!) I made it to everyone’s blog and commented. Excellent questions, everybody! April, I am so happy & proud to be a part of this community <3
http://www.theredscorpio.com/blog/yestomoneywhilesleeping/
This was sooooooooooooooooo thoughtful! I mean, could you make me feel any better right before teaching at CreativeLive again? I don’t think so. Thank you for the pump-me-up feels I got from reading your post.
I can’t wait to see you again. You’re a pro at CL courses at this point, so I’m looking at you as a leader…you know what that means…hot freaking seat! 🙂
Hahaha! I will do whatever you need me to. This is going to be so great! I’m not sure CL is prepared for the amount of awesomeness that is about to be dropped on them. I don’t know if any other instructor has rallied a community the way you have for this course. Splendid job, Lady!
April, I did it! Here is a direct link to the post. It is all in Russian, but as we have agreed the name of the post is “How I sucked up a great business idea and what I will do to not let this happen again”
http://hometocome.com/2014/10/kak-ya-profukala-otlichnuyu-biznes-ideyu.html
Yay! I wish that I could read it. Why didn’t I take Russian in high school? Stupid Latin hasn’t helped me one bit like my dad promised.
Thank you so very much for joining the blog tour and posting this! 🙂
Hi April, seems like I have missed to post the link to my blog post for the blog tour here! Oops! So that’s why I didn’t find it in the blog posts list that you just shared today…Stupid me 🙂
