In the beginning of June, I set out to publish one video every Monday to help you start your week with energy and inspiration.
I said that I would continue to upload these videos until the end of December and the end of December is coming up soon. I’ve decided that I’m going to stop the Monday Motivation series at the end of December, because I’ve covered pretty much all of the topics I wanted to discuss related to productivity and motivation.
If you enjoy my videos, don’t worry. I’m going to keep publishing videos, but they’re going to be about different business topics (not just about increasing your productivity) and they won’t be every single week.
If you’re new to Blacksburg Belle or you didn’t see many of my Monday Motivation videos, here are my top five favorites:
1. How Would You Spend Your Time if You Already Had Your Dream Job?
If you’re wondering what you should really be spending your time on to reach your business goals, watch this video. By the end of the this five-minute video, you’ll know exactly what to focus on.
2. Three Tasks
This strategy helps me get more done than anything else I’ve ever tried. If you’ve got an overflowing to-do list, check out this video.
3. Take Advantage of Opportunities
When you see a potential opportunity (pitching an interview, collaborating on a project, entering a giveaway, etc), do you say to yourself, “I’ll try this later–maybe next year,” or “this won’t work for me?” Watch this video to see how taking advantage of opportunities helped me grow my business extremely fast in the beginning.
4. Batching
The only way I was able to create videos to publish every single Monday was through batching. Once you realize the magic of batching, you’ll see that you can get a lot more done in a short amount of time. Once you batch, you never go back.
5. Are You Selling Too Many Things?
One of the biggest mistakes many creatives make when starting their businesses is trying to sell too many things. When you sell too many products, you don’t have enough time to promote any of them well and you fall into the ‘the next product will be a game changer for my business’ cycle. You expect your awesome product to sell itself which doesn’t work in this noisy world.
I understand that it’s hard to narrow down your product line, because you’re a multi-passionate person. That’s why I created this video to help you figure out how to include multiple passions into your business without selling each individual thing.

My #1 productivity tip is: create first, consume later.
If I haven’t done what I planned to do for the day, email, social media, blogs, courses and books are just distractions.
I work in a 100% distraction-proof environment with notifications turned off and certain websites blocked via browser add-ons.
It works like a charm!
I’ve loved watching these videos on Mondays and I’m sure what ever subject you talk about will be great. You always give on point advice that we can use in business and life. Excited to see what’s to come.
Ah, if only attaining my dream job is easy, I’ll be all set.
