How do I know if Operation World Domination and/or B-School are right for MY business?
This question keeps popping up in my email inbox from creatives I’ve worked with for years to women who stumbled upon my business within the past month.
And, I get it.
These programs are an investment.
You want to make the right decision. You don’t want to waste your money or spend it on the wrong thing.
If I haven’t worked with you before, it’s hard for me to tell you that you absolutely need to take OWD and B-School or that you should pass on it, because I don’t know the ins and outs of your business.
And, the countdown is on because registration just opened! (Eeeeeeek…I’m excited!)
So, I’m going to give you three steps to take to figure out if you should join Operation World Domination and/or B-School:
1. Watch the video above. Does it give you that I-need-this-in-my-life-right-now feeling?
If you connect with this video, that’s your first sign that these programs are right for you.
When I joined B-School, I remember getting goosebumps while watching the free videos that explained the program.
“Operation World Domination is everything a girl boss might need to take an important project and change her life forever. Believe that it’s the perfect group to get together, it’s not just business, it’s friendship and tons of fun and useful information.” -Diana Silva
In today’s Q&A call, Mayi and I are going to answer all of your questions regarding Operation World Domination and B-School. After you attend or watch it, you will have a lot more clarity on whether or not you should sign up for either of these programs.
We always host a Q&A call when B-School launches and the women who attend and ask questions usually email us afterwards saying, “I just signed up for B-School through your affiliate link and I’m both scared and so excited I’m dancing around my living room because I know I need B-School and your bonus package is the best fit for my business,” or “Thanks for being so honest in the call. I realized that this isn’t for me, at least for now.”
3. See if you relate to how I knew I needed to join B-School when I did:
When I registered for B-School, I didn’t have $2000 to invest in training.
My husband and I were struggling to pay our bills. He was a brand new attorney with mountains of student loans. I was making money in my business but nothing close to what I wanted to be making.
And, about six months before, I spent $995 on a similar program and I wondered if I would learn anything new.
I handed my husband a glass of wine when he got home from work and told him that I needed to talk to him about something important, because we never spent that kind of money without discussing it with each other.
I told him that I thought B-School could change our lives, that I was nervous about spending that much money but that I knew that I’d have to invest in myself if I wanted to grow my business.
My gut was telling me I needed this (while my stomach turned with nausea).
And, I realized that in order to run a thriving business, I would have to make decisions based on the business I wanted to have–not the business I currently had.
To have a business that would bring in 100k per year (which is what I really wanted at the time), I needed to operate at that level and that meant investing in programs, courses and conferences that would help me get there.
When I stopped running my business from a scarcity mindset and allowed myself to fully commit, my business changed.
I bought a DSLR to take better photos. I purchased a light kit for my videos. I bought Photoshop and Illustrator and courses to learn how to use Photoshop and Illustrator.
When I took my business seriously and conducted my business at the level I wanted to get to (instead of where I was), launches and marketing became easier.
I took B-School to fully commit, to show myself and my husband that I believed in myself and to learn from someone I admired.
It wasn’t an easy decision. I stayed up night after night, re-reading every detail on the program over and over. I fought with the sheets, tossing and turning and barely sleeping, worried I would make the wrong decision.
I hopped onto multiple Skype calls with Mayi to decide if we’d take it together and be each other’s accountability partner.
Here’s the good and bad news: You never feel ready.
That unsure feeling you’re wrestling with is normal. We all have it.
Did I feel “ready” to take B-School when I did? No way. Did I feel “ready” to teach at CreativeLive when they emailed me? Umm….nope. Did I feel “ready” to spend $8,000 on a video team when I flew to Panama to work with Mayi? Definitely not.
At some point, you have to leap. If you leap with us, we’ll hold your hand along the way.
“My favorite part of your mastermind group was the community, the structured content and really great practical ideas to help you get through B-school and improve your business. And, the live calls were excellent and a highlight of my B-school experience. It really felt like a special time, where we were getting your full attention and amazing experience and insights. Your advice was invaluable. And the mug is now one of my treasured possessions. Getting to know the other members of the mastermind was also wonderful and has led on to other opportunities.” -Kat Piper
